Enemy lies!!

Recently an INGSOC member betrayed us, his name Parrington. This thought criminal has threatened to try and brainwash you fine, loyal INGSOC members to join him in his new party. If you are messaged by him or the socialist party I urge you to ingore their lies and remain loyal to your party. I know you wont let me down

To answer his points:

INGSOC is not failing, as shown by the contributions by our members, how can we fail when we have our members shaping our policies.

I am sorry if anyone feels that the leadership is failing in its duty, if anyone has any greivances please feel free to PM me and we can put help put right the problem - leaving the party will not solve anything

The party is not corrupt there is no cash flow in any direction apart from towards party funds, all the gold I can spare is donated to party funds and I'm sure many others are in similar situations. If any member needs financial help they only need to ask!

We do not force anyone to do anything, we merely advise what you should be doing to best aid the party, nothing is compulsory

We respect all our members and their contributions to policy, without the continued support and help of its members INGSOC would be nothing.

Although I do feel we need to have a long and lengthy debate on the fruitcake issue

I hope this clears a few things up.

Sounds like standard B.S. to me... corrupt? anyone can take a look at the donations to the party funds and see that the 3 people he named are actually giving huge amounts of gold - i myself recently donated near to 20 gold which took a long time for me to save. i also had to help the PP along when his account got hacked and he lost all his gold and money. Failing? he has every right to make these remarks, but he has no evidence - party growth has done nothing except *increase*, gold increased (just look at political statistics newspaper) and we have had some great input in the more recent weeks - both by INGSOC and other party members. again, thanks to all those!

lol frank anyway, i really tried with saneth hill to get a dialogue going and to "call it quits" between out 2 parties, but this recent parrington thing has really wound me up. he has every right to leave the party ofc, just when you start PM'ing our members and disrespecting the party members... its just not cricket :/

I couldnt agree more with the DVPP, its ok to leave but dont try and disrupt INGSOC. I messaged Parrington "If you want to join the SP thats fine, but dont try and disrupt my party. I think you are making a mistake, there you wont get very far." needless to say he didnt reply

First of all. Any messages by Parrington to any INGSOC member will have been made in an unofficial capacity. Our Recruitment Officer is Joe Murphy. The Socialist Party would not and does not stand in the way of a Party Member messaging a friend or someone that they feel would enjoy being a part of our organisation. I would like to apologise upon our party’s behalf for the horrific and long-term psychological distress that this may have caused to the recipient. I would also like to state that sending a couple of PM’s out does not in any way compare to two months of attempts to takeover another party. The Socialist Party never asked for you to send Parrington, Harry Brownn et al across to try and take us over. The current state of affairs was started by you chaps so ultimately if our response “isn’t cricket” you need to look in the mirror to see who is responsible.

I’d like to thank Coram_Boy for some totally unsubstantiated comments upon our party being run by a single multi. Whilst I am reasonably confident that the “cadre” of our party contains no multis one can never be truly certain of this. I am sure Frank Blott can confirm this if he would care to recall what happened to the INGSOC member that he brought with him to the Vanguard Party in his abortive attempt to take control in December. I would like to state that this isn’t a dig at Frank, who I actually consider to be an excellent politician. I also have to confess that at the same time as this occured someone who I brought into Vanguard turned out to also be a multi. He was banned from the game and quite rightly so. The view of the Socialist Party is that cheats should be identified, reported and banned. I am sure that in this at least we don’t differ from INGSOC in the slightest.

The simple fact is that no-one can be sure that anyone else in this game isn’t cheating. I know for a fact that I’m not a multi, but I can't prove it by posting rambling comments upon any forum. The same goes for any of you reading this. However, if I’m proven wrong in my trust of the current Socialist Party leadership you have my word I will happily give INGSOC control of my two companies, donate every penny that I possess to your party and work for minimum wage within your party company.

Anyway, to cut a long post short, thanks for sending us Parrington. He’s an intelligent likeable person. Realistically we probably won’t be top of INGSOC’s Christmas card list next December but we will still be independent and expanding. I’d like there to be a truce. We leave you alone. You leave us alone. Or we could keep going with utterly pathetic PTO attempts and squabbling about who stole which party member from which party and who is friends with who. I'd like to think that both parties have more maturity than the average 14 year old girl and hope you feel the same.

two things firstly we didnt sent you Parington he was a traitor, secondly I appricate the SP holding out the olive branch and I must say I would be foolish not to acept. However should any of your members (in particualr Parrington and Seneth Hill) try any more antics/ insults of INGSOC. We shall retaliate

As a former member and now a outsider looking in, perhaps this has no become a distraction for you guys, im sure you have bigger fish to fry so to speak and by even conversing with any of them is just lowering your level to theres?

Your party talk of big things, bickering with a no-hope party wont help your cause.

Firstly I would like to start by saying that I also admire your skills as a politician and especially the way that you have offered us a truce. I am now perfectly prepared to go on record saying that I will not support any takeover of TSP, in my view it is unnecessary. Any takeover attempt only serves to deepen the feud and make the INGSOC even more isolated.

Small parties need to pull together, but it will be along time before we can fully work together. I do not ask for an end to Saneth's comments - they only show him up - I just hope we can end some of this animosity. It benefits noone.

Thankyou so much for the positive reaction to my comments.

I'm happy to be a conduit to help defuse any future issues INGSOC may have with TSP. If you don't like any of our partymember's activites then please PM me and I will attempt to address it. I would like to think that INGSOC will identify a member that I can direct any grievances to from the TSP side of the fence.

I fully endorse erpublic's comments about antics/insults and am sure he appreciates that antics/insults can come from both sides and all such activities are unacceptable.
