Forum Rules
Here are the rules of the forums, after recent events it seems necessary to put up a these just to clarify what behaviour is acceptable. Although the vast majority of members use the forums properly some people (thankfully not INGSOC members) seem to think they can behave unacceptably.
The following rules are all obvious it is just that we feel that they need some clarification:
1) Abuse of any of the forum members will not be tolerated no matter what party they come from or whatever their political views. This includes the sending of abusive PM's as well as abusive posts. Any reports of such behaviour will be taken seriously and may result in a ban - repeat offenders may be permenantly banned.
2) Posts to unsuitable external sites will also be removed and may result in the people who post them getting banned.
3) Although we want your views and will accept any constructive criticism of our policies gratefully, we take a very dim view of baseless insults to the party or to evidenceless accusations.
4) If you have been banned you have been banned for a reason, anypeople who create multiple accounts after their original ones were banned will face an extension to their original ban.
5) Try to treat other members with courtesy, although rudeness is not an offence it is more likely to facilitate getting your views accross.
6) Everyone has a right to be heard on policy issues, don't shot down peoples ideas without giving a reason as that just breeds resentment.
7) It is the job of the admins to investigate any cases of these rules being broken, their decision is final.
I will leave this topic open to responses momentarily to see if there are any other suggestions.
